Operation Steps:

1. Preparation

   • Ensure all components are clean and dry.
   • Weigh the appropriate amount of agarose into an Erlenmeyer flask.
   • Add buffer and heat until completely melted, then mix well to make the agarose gel solution.

2. Gel Making

   • Place the gel maker horizontally and select the appropriate gel tray.
   • Pour the agarose gel solution into the tray and let it solidify at room temperature.
   • Once solidified, remove the sample comb to prepare the gel plate.

3. Sample Loading

   • Place the prepared gel and tray in the electrophoresis box.
   • Add the running buffer to cover the gel plate.
   • Use a micropipette to add samples to the sample grooves without damaging the gel surface.

4. Electrophoresis

   • Cover the top according to the correct positions of the positive and negative poles.
   • Insert the electrophoresis wire and select the appropriate voltage to start electrophoresis.
   • Monitor the sample movement and stop the process when bromophenol blue reaches 1 cm from the lower edge.

5. Observation

   • Use the blue light transilluminator to observe the electrophoresis in real time.
